Dear Friends

We hope you are well and we wish you love and kindness in the year ahead. We hope 2024 will be remembered for its solutions to end conflict and violence throughout the world.

2023 brought wonderful changes to our studios in Correns as we converted the ground floor into a gallery where we were able to present three exhibitions over the summer, we also purchased a new studio at the entrance to our village for our monumental bronze sculptures.  Earlier in the year we invited Ashley Macleod, an American art advisor, to work with us on marketing and this greatly improved our visibility over the year.

The three exhibitions at our studio’s new Gallery space over the Summer were ‘Goddess’ by Shona; ‘Dialogue’, an exhibition of Tribal Art from the collection of Maison Hilarion alongside some of our own tribal influenced artworks, and an exhibition of new ‘Paintings’ by Michael.  These exhibitions have online catalogues, please see below.

This year we also partnered with Aspras, a Correns organic winery, where we have a continual exhibition of our monumental bronzes in their sculpture garden. During the summer these were featured in their Art and Vin exhibition which is part of the larger Var Region in Provence to promote Wine and Art.

Having Ashley Macleod on our side has been great.  She has connected us with many art collectors, foundations and museums, not only in Provence, but in Tuscany and New York as well. In Provence, in the lauded village of Cotignac, she has been able to arrange our next major exhibition for five months over the summer 2024 at the Falaise Art Foundation, an exhibition of some 30 sculptures. While in Tuscany, Shona’s large Horse and Rider sculpture, ’Arrival’ will grace the ancient Portal to the city of Pietrasanta, the Mecca of great sculpture, throughout the Spring of 2024.

During January and February we have our online exhibition of sculpture and drawing from our collection of art in Australia.  The prices include delivery and are immediately available.

If you find yourself in Provence this year, please look us up, we would be delighted to see you!

Warmest wishes

Shona and Michael
