This sculpture of a cloud resting in the field is carved in a lovely translucent onyx, strewn with rich reddy browns and fissures and crevices that give lie to its solidity. This cloud sits heavily into the field like a cloud at sunset unwilling to part from the earth. The simply painted flowers are poppies and daisies and give joy to the feeling of a cloud just wanting to partake.
