In Our Studios

August 2019

After the wonderful joyous opening of our studios in July we have indulged in a beautiful Provencal summer, inspired by colour and culinary exotica from the fields around us, with many visits to our studios from lovely collectors and art lovers. Our spaces are full of light and everyday we are creating – so good when we were just bursting to create while all the renovation work was being done – the art in us feels like an avalanche wanting to happen!  The Atelier is an amazing success!

It is a dream returning to our studios, rediscovering the works from many years ago and preparing for our exhibition in Hong Kong which we have now sadly postponed. We wait for another time when Hong Kong bounces back to its former ‘can do’ self and people are once again happy to be out visiting exhibitions and looking at art.

In the meantime, wonderful news!  We were recently contacted by the director of the Antipodean Film Festival asking us to exhibit our sculpture and painting during the 21st edition in St Tropez, in beautiful, glamorous, cultural St Tropez, right on the Place des Lices. We are really excited to be joining this illustrious celebration of culture.

Michael’s large bronze sculpture Moon Dance, (in an edition of 3), in the central square outside the Marie office continues to bring joy to our village.
