Washing
Machine
- Turn on
- Select your setting
- When it stops, you need to push off button and wait 2
minutes before you can open the door.
|
|
|
Electricity
- You cannot run high voltage implements concurrently, for
instance, if you ran the electric oven together with the iron,
the electricity would cut out.
- If power cuts out, there is a power board located on the
right of the main door (sometimes behind the painting). Flick the
main switch back on, UP.
- Sometimes you will need to also go down into the laundry
and turn the main switch on the powerboard there.
- There are candles in the draw of the cupboard in the
kitchen and a wind up tourch for emergency.

Rubbish
- Ordinary rubbish in one bin, Re-cycle in another.
- At the the top of the village in the car park on the road
there are bins for rubbish, paper and card, glass and tins etc.

|
Gas
- The kitchen stove is bottle gas. If it runs out there is
another bottle in the cantina.The bottle to change is the bottle
outside the cantina door. The shifter to change the nozzle is located
in the cabinet draw in the kitchen
|
|
|
Fire
Place
- You are welcome to use the stove in the lounge room. Fire
wood is in the cantina. Please DO NOT leave the doors open when
are out of the room.

|
|
Food
- Mice find their way into the house through open windows, even with the cats of the village, so
for your own benefit, put food away and empty the food bin regularly.
|
|
|
Watering
the plants
- Would you mind watering the the pot plants, upstairs
window, on the terrace and hydrangea at the cantina door, twice a week
should be fine.
|
|
|
Change
of sheets & bath towels
- It's a self service house, so when you need a change of
sheets or towels they are located in the writing room in the tall
cupboard. We hang the sheets on a wire outside the bathroom window.
There is also a drying rack in the laundry.

|
|
Buses
- There is a timetable in the kitchen cabinet draw.
Times may change without warning. In Italy, timetables are an
indication!

|
Internet
- Closest is at Jaqueline's in Ponte a Serraglio.
|
|
|
Bars
& Restaurants
- There is a bar in Pieve di Monti di Villa, well priced, run
by lovely old people. There is a restaurant/bar in the next village
down the hill at Graniola.
|
|
|
