-----------------------------------------	Pieve di Monti di Villa Bagni di Lucca and Ponte a Serraglio The mountains Lucca and Pisa Getting there - a car is advisable and can be easily rented at Pisa airport There are two airports close to Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Pisa is the easiest with a train at the airport and buses to lucca and then onto Bagni di Lucca.  There are plenty of good car rentals at the airport. We have taken a taxi to Bagni di Lucca from the Pisa airport and it cost €90 at the time. From Rome, you can take a train to Lucca and then onto Bagni di Lucca via Florence or a train to Pisa and then onto Bagni di Lucca. Please note, the train station in Bagni di Lucca is about 2 kilometers away and is not always serviced by a bus. A bus to Bagni di Lucca from Lucca will take you right to the piazza of Ponte a Serraglio. By car we are 30 minutes from Lucca, 50 minutes from Pisa, 1 1/2 hours from Florence, 3 1/2 hours from Rome or the French border.
